This fully fenced and gated ranch is located in a beautiful canyon of the San Juan Mountains, just 30 miles southwest of Alamosa and 80 miles north of Taos, New Mexico. Elevation at our gate is 8,051 feet; latitude is 37° 13’ 38” N; longitude is 106° 10’ 35” W. This land is very private. It is about 90% surrounded by government land, which provides some of Colorado’s best wildlife viewing, fishing, hunting, hiking, and mountain climbing opportunities.
Every track of land has unique river frontage on La Jara Creek, a beautiful spring fed stream which meanders through the canyon. The river and fishing ponds offer consistently good fishing.
